The Shofar is the ancient trumpet which called the people of God to prayer, repentance, sacrifice and war.

Nov 1995: IT'S THOSE BILDERBERGERS AGAIN!

Microsoft Word Format:

No-one could have been surprised at the attendance of Kenneth Clarke MP, Lord Carrington, Lord Owen and Tony Blair MP at the 1993 Bilderberger conference of the world's rich and powerful elite.  Incidentally, none of the recent obituaries of Lord Home of the Hirsel, who was Prime Minister from 1963 to 1964 and Foreign Secretary under MacMillan and Heath, mentioned that he was Chairman of Bilderberg from 1977 until 1980.

We have now seen the attendance list of the 1995 Bilderberger meeting in Burgenstock, Switzerland, from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th June.  The Chairman was again Peter Carrington.  Among the 120 participants were the Queen of the Netherlands, the King of Sweden, the President of Finland, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, the Vice Presidents of Switzerland and Spain and the Federal Chancellor of Austria.  We are not discussing a tin-pot affair of no importance.  The agenda and minutes of such a high-powered event would be of great interest.  Decisions will have been made by the insiders which will affect us all.

David Rockefeller of Chase Manhattan Bank was there as one would expect of the Bilderberger mastermind.  So were his compatriots Lloyd Bentsen, Tom Foley, Richard Holbrooke and Henry Kissinger.  So was William Kristol, the journalist and Republican strategist.  It was he who recently took the lead in talking up liberal Colin Powell in the Republican presidential nomination.  Andrew Knight, Murdoch's man at News Corporation was again in attendance, as was Canadian Conrad Black, owner of the Telegraph group.

Around Europe we see the names of Willy Claes, who was Secretary General of Nato at the time, and Ritt Bjerregnard, Hans van den Brock, Etienne Davignon and Peter Sutherland, all past or present European Commissioners.  There are many bankers on the list, including board members of Deutsche Bank, Banque de France, Credit Suisse, the World Bank, Barclays, Rothschilds and Lord Roll of S G Warburg.  Industrialists are well represented, including Giovanni Agnelli of FIAT, John Browne of BP and Philippe Jaffre of ELF.

The attendance of arch-European Giles Radice MP is explicable, but what was Norman Lamont MP doing there unless representing merchant bank N M Rothschild of which he is a director?   And what was the benefit to the United Kingdom of the attendance at the Bilderberger conference of David Hannay, the Permanent Representative at our mission to the United Nations, and the Rt Hon William Waldegrave MP, then Secretary of State for Agriculture but now Chief Secretary to the Treasury?  What was discussed and agreed during those four days?  We should be told.
