Proposed March Route

The map also marks the public conveniences in and around Hyde Park.
All coaches should drop off in the southbound carriageway of Park Lane, where coach parking will be found between Grosvenor Gate and Curson Gate. Once the Police open up Park Lane again, all Coaches should head to Victoria Embankment where there is coach parking. Please note that you should ask your coach driver to pick you up at Victoria Embankment once the March and events in Trafalgar Square are concluded.
All coach parties should arrive no later than 11:30AM after which point the Metropolitan Police will start closing the southbound carriageway of Park Lane.
Marchers should assemble between Curson Gate and Queen Elizabeth Gates in Hyde Park and please aim to arrive by 12 noon.
The Metropolitan Police and our stewards (who will be wearing high visibility vests) will start forming up the march on the southbound carriageway of Park Lane from 12 noon onwards. Please listen carefully for instructions – We will be using loudhailers.
We are aiming to start the march from 1PM onwards.

Stage 1 (page 1 of route map) - We start the March at 1PM and walk from Hyde Park Corner to Grosvenor Garden/Victoria Street
Stage 2 (page 2 of route map) We are likely to arrive at Grosvenor Garden/Victoria Street at 1:20PM and will continue walking to Victoria Street/Buckingham Gate
Stage 3 (page 3 of route map) We are likely to arrive at Victoria Street/Buckingham Gate at 1:40PM and will continue walking to Parliament Square/Parliament Street
Stage 4 (page 4 of route map) We are likely to arrive at Parliament Square/Parliament Street at 2PM and will continue walking up Whitehall to Trafalgar Square
Map 4 - Stage 5 We are likely to arrive at Trafalgar Square 2:15PM
We will start the Pray Gathering in Trafalgar Square at about 2:30PM
In total the March will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It should also be noted that those at the rear of the March may arrive in Trafalgar Square 20 minutes after those at the front of the March.
The events in Trafalgar Square should conclude by about 4PM but this is an approximate time. Once proceedings in Trafalgar Square are completed and if you have come by coach, then please make your way to Victoria Embankment (see page 4 of route map) where you should have told your coach driver to meet you.
Please ensure that you carefully listen to and follow the instructions of both our stewards and the Metropolitan Police.
St Johns Ambulance will be walking with us and will be in Trafalgar Square to deal with first aid – Please speak to one of the stewards on the March if you need this or feel unwell. However, all emergencies should be reported to the Police and Ambulance via 999. |
