About Us

We are a concerned and growing group of believers across the denominational divides crying out for Godly change in the Church and in our Nation. We believe this is a time of testing in which Almighty God is calling for repentance and for a new devotion to His Word. So we pray, with all our heart:
MOR letter to leaders

1.  To keep pace with the mind of God:
Isa 26:8-9 “Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. ”.
Jer 29:13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”. (NIV).

2.  To call God’s people to repentance.
Joel 2:12-13 "Even now," declares the LORD, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. ”.

3.  To unify the Church.
Eph 4:1-4 “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called”;

4.  To mobilise His people in a March of Repentance.
Esther 4:1 “When Mordecai learned of all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the city, wailing loudly and bitterly”;

5.  For God to withhold His judgment on the Church.
1Pe 4:17 “For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

6.  For God to withhold His judgment on our Nation.
2Ch 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

7.  To turn the nation back to Jesus Christ.
Isa 42:4 “He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.”.
1Co 15:25 “For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.”.
Php 2:9-11 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”.

8.  To confound the forces of darkness.
2Chr 20:21-22 “After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his [d] holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever."As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.”.
Psa 146:9 “The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.”.

9.  To show God we are serious, and then to expect a miracle.
Isa 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" ”.
2Ch 20:6 “And (Jehoshaphat) said, "O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.”
Act 13:41 “Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.”.

10.  For the Church to be silent no more.
Mat 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men”.
Mat 16:18 “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”.

March of Repentance Statement of Faith

We believe in...

  1. The one true God who lives eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
  3. The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
  4. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
  5. The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
  6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
  7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
  8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
  9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
  10. The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.
  11. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

We are also mindful of the quote afforded to Augustine when speaking about possible divisive matters

In Essentials – Let there be UNITY

In non-essentials – Let there be LIBERTY

But in all things – Let there be CHARITY
